Adaptable Recruitment are delighted to be working with a prestigious Liverpool based organisation who is looking to recruit a detail orientated and proactive Treasury Accountant to cover a 12 month period of maternity leave.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reconciling treasury accounts, monitoring bank transactions and supporting the overall treasury operation to ensure efficient liquidity management.

Salary and Benefits
£30000 per annum
25 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays
Office based

Duties and responsibilities will include-

• Manage and reconcile daily cash positions and bank accounts to ensure accurate recording of all transactions.
• · Monitor cash flow to support liquidity management.
• · Process treasury related journal entries, payments, and receipts in accordance with company policy.
• · Assist in the preparation and maintenance of treasury reports and financial statements.
• · Collaborate with internal teams and banks to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely settlement of transactions.
• · Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements within treasury operations.

The Person

• Proactive and self-motivated.
• · Proven experience in a treasury role.
• · Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
• · Proficient in using accounting software (e.g. Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
• · Strong organisation skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• · Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
