Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 08:00am - 16:00pm
  • Friday: 08:00am - 15:30pm

The Role

As Office Administrator, you will be at the centre of the day-to-day operation, providing vital support to customers, colleagues, and management. This is a varied position combining administration, customer service, and coordination responsibilities within a busy office environment.

Acting as the first point of contact for visitors and customers, you'll play a key role in ensuring the office runs efficiently while delivering a professional and welcoming service at all times.

This role would suit an organised, proactive individual who enjoys managing multiple tasks, has excellent attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing general office administration duties
  • Answering incoming telephone calls and responding to emails professionally and efficiently
  • Greeting visitors and maintaining a professional front-of-house presence
  • Processing customer orders received via online platforms, email, and telephone
  • Maintaining and updating large spreadsheets and internal records
  • Preparing customer quotations and supporting the sales process
  • Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues where appropriate
  • Raising invoices and assisting with credit control activities, including chasing outstanding payments
  • Coordinating deliveries and collections with customers and courier providers

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience within a busy office administration, customer service, or business support role
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel
  • Experience managing and maintaining spreadsheets and databases
  • A professional and friendly approach when dealing with customers and colleagues
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience using Sage accounting software would be advantageous, although not essential
